Why did you choose UniMelb for your bachelor’s/master’s?
I chose UniMelb because of its strong reputation, diverse community, and great career opportunities. I’m currently in my third and final year of Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Management. I chose this major because I enjoy numbers, calculations, advising, and understanding people.
What has your experience at MBSSA been like, and what have you been involved in?
My experience at MBSSA has been really valuable. As a Human Resources Coordinator, I’ve worked with students, graduates, and professionals, which helped me improve my communication and teamwork skills. I was also involved in Corporate Cocktails, where I met many panellists and industry professionals, helping me build connections and gain confidence.

Why did you choose UniMelb for your bachelor’s/master’s?
University of Melbourne houses Australia’s #1 Business program. When I received my acceptance letter, the decision, therefore, was simple. Of course, it also helped that the Gothic-style building (object of all my dark academia dreams) sits a stone’s throw away from the Melbourne Cricket Ground , as a lifelong cricket tragic, was there really ever any choice?
What has your experience at MBSSA been like, and what have you been involved in?
I was lucky enough to receive a place in MBS Student Association in my first semester itself. As a fledgling just finding my feet at the university, and the city, it helped immensely to have a support structure in place that was not only willing to go an extra mile for myself professionally, but also personally.
Being not only an attendee but an organiser for the organisation’s events over the last year has been a privilege. I have honed existing skills across marketing, picked up new tricks across event management, all while engaging with some lovely new acquintances.
